Two Arrested in Drug Bust

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at approximately 3:34 a.m., Colquitt Police Department officers, along with state probation and the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 156 Perry Street, Apartment 408.

The search warrant was obtained due to suspected narcotics being in the residence.

Upon entry, officers cleared the apartment, finding a black male and a black female asleep in the bed. Both parties were then secured for officer safety and escorted to the living room area of the apartment.

A search was then conducted of the residence. During the search, several forms of narcotics were seized. These narcotics were “crack” cocaine “cookies,” marijuana and spice. Along with the narcotics, several scales and packaging materials were seized. Photographs were taken of all the evidence for seizure.

The resident, Kwamain Andrews, black male, age 27, and a female were arrested and transported to the Miller County Jail pending warrants.
