Grier Tiner Obituary

 Mrs. Grier Haddock Tiner, age 76 of Damascus died Sunday, December 9, 2018, at her residence.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Barwick officiating.  Interment will follow at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens in Colquitt with Robert “Beau” Franklin Watson, Frederick William Dennis VI, Michael Stuckey, Michael Hornsby, Henry Collier “Bubber” Haddock, III, and Vernon Smith “Buster” Haddock serving as active pall bearers.  Honorary pall bearers will be the members of the Carol Smith Sunday School class.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.

     Mrs. Tiner was a homemaker and a member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Carol Smith Sunday School class.

     She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert “Bobby” E. Tiner, Sr. of Damascus, GA; one son, Robert “Ret” (Haley) E. Tiner, Jr., of Blakely, GA; four daughters, Leigh Tiner of Blakely, GA, Robin (Johnny) Watson of Blakely, GA, Julie Tiner Hornsby of Donalsonville, GA, and Calli Audrey Tiner of Damascus, GA; ten beloved grandchildren, Jenna Dennis Stuckey, Frederick William “Will” Dennis VI, Tiner James Brewer, Jacob Tiner Watson, Robert “Beau” Franklin Watson, Olivia “Ollie” Grier Hornsby, Lillie Katherine Hornsby, Maggie Nell Hornsby, Sutton Larissa Tiner, and Copper Ella Tiner; and two beloved great grandchildren, William James Stuckey and Frederick William “Liam” Dennis VII.  Mrs. Tiner was preceded in death by one daughter, Jill Tiner; her parents, William Henry and Veryl Grier Haddock, Sr.; two brothers, William Henry “Hal” Haddock, Jr., and Henry Collier Haddock, Sr.; and in-laws, Will and Laura Lea Daniels Tiner.
