Traffic Stop Leads to TwoArrests

On Wednesday, September 5, 2018, Deputy Garison Clenney was located on GA Highway 27 South in Miller County when he came into contact with a gold in color Toyota vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Deputy Clenney conducted a traffic stop on the speeding vehicle that was occupied by four individuals.

The four occupants in the vehicle were identified as Zabriel Auburn Black Sr. of 158 Ave. SW, Alachua, FL, Jessica Ann Green, of 13605 NW CR 235, Alachua, FL, William Hardy, 4006 NW 21st Ter., Gainesville, FL., and Jamie Golden, 18645 NW 282nd Drive, High Springs, FL.

Deputy Clenney asked for consent to search the vehicle after he could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

K9 Gena alerted officers on the trunk where the suspected crack pipes and firearm were located.

After running the serial number on the firearm, it came back stolen out of Gainesville, FL.

Upon further investigation two subjects were arrested for marijuana possession, possession of stolen firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects and crossing the guard line with contraband.

Zabriel Black Sr. was charged with cocaine - possession/ sell/purchase/manufacture, marijuana - possession of less than an ounce, theft by receiving stolen property, going inside guardline with weapon, liquor.

Jessica Ann Green was charged with cocaine - possession/ sell/purchase/manufacture, drug objects - trans in/poss w/intent to distribute, going inside guard lines with weapon, liquor.

Black and Green were booked and placed in the Miller County Jail where both are still being held. The other two were released with verbal warnings.
