SGA Selects Homecoming Court

Southwest Georgia Academy students have selected their representatives for the 2018- 2019 Homecoming Court. Presentation of the Court will take place at 6:30 P. M. October 5 , prior to the start of the game. The girls will be escorted by their fathers. The announcement and crowning of the queen will take place during halftime. The queen will be crowned and saluted at that time by the senior members of the The senior class will have 4 representatives on the court because of a tie in the voting. The queen will be chosen from this group. The first senior representative is Karlie Marie Bridges, daughter of Taylor and Tina Bridges of Blakely.

The second representative is Abbie Elizabeth Earnest, the daughter of Craig and Kem Earnest of Donalsonville.

The third of the representatives is Ashlee Grace Phillips, daughter of Don and Gina Phillips of Blakely.

The last of the senior representatives is Laney McLeod Hall, daughter of Christy and Kevin Hall of Colquitt..

Two girls will be representing the Junior class: Abbygail Taylor Brooks, daughter of Chad and Lea Brooks of Edison and Alana Faith Dowdy, daughter of Chris and Stacie Dowdy of Colquitt and Leslie Solderich of Jesup, Georgia .

Representing the sophomore class will be Katherine McGill Hattaway, daughter of Sam and Leslie Hattaway of Blakely.

The freshman representative is Kamryn Camille Carver, daughter of Jim and Lynn Carver of Blakely.

The Homcoming Dance will be held in the SGA Cafeteria and will begin 30 minutes after the ballgame ends Friday night..
