New District Attorney Appointed and Sworn in by Judge Bishop

District Attorney, Ronald Victor McNease Jr. was sworn in by Judge Joe Bishop, Chief Judge of the Pataula Judicial Circuit. District Attorney, Ronald Victor McNease Jr. was sworn in by Judge Joe Bishop, Chief Judge of the Pataula Judicial Circuit. On Wednesday, April 4, Governor Nathan Deal appointed Ronald Victor McNease Jr., -- or Vic, as he is known by friends and family – as the new District Attorney for the Pataula Judicial Circuit. His appointment officially went into effect on April 9, when he was sworn in by Judge Joe Bishop, Chief Superior Court Judge of the Pataula Circuit. The swearing in was performed at the Miller County Courthouse. In attendance were friends, family, and colleagues. The governor will perform a ceremonial swearing in at the Capital in the upcoming weeks. The Pataula Judicial Circuit serves the counties of Clay, Early, Miller, Quitman, Randolph, Seminole, and Terrell.

Vic has been an Assistant District Attorney for eight years, the last three have been here in the Pataula Circuit. He earned his Bachelors from the University of Georgia, his Master’s in Business from the University of Kentucky, and his law degree from Thomas Goode Jones Law School.

Vic and his wife Kayln have one daughter, Evelyn age 3.
