MCHS Literary Team Competes at BSC

As usual Miller County's team competed, and placed, in several different categories. The students that attended were Sydney Thomas, who got first place in girl's solo; Ruben Uribe, first place in rhetorical essay; Talvin Daniels, third in humorous interpretation; Reagan Bellflower, third in dramatic interpretation; Aden Strickland, second in boy's solo; Adre'ana Etheredge, international extemporaneous speaking; and Freya Griffin and Harley Shiver, trio alternates.

Our two group competitions were girl's trio, Sydney Thomas, Lizzie Horne, and Reagan Bellflower, who placed second, and finally duo interpretation including Talvin Daniels and Reagan Bellflower, who placed third.

The two first place winners will continue their competitions in Milledgeville on March 18 to advance for a possible state title.
