Griffin Wells Griffin Wells The Miller County FFA Chapter is proud to announce Griffin Wells as FFA Member of the Week. Griffin is the son of Bryan and Julie Wells of Colquitt. He is currently a 12th grader at Miller County High School. Griffin has been involved in many FFA events at the chapter level such as the Beast Feast, FFA Day at the Fair, Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT), Farm Day, the Pork Chop and BBQ plate sales, and is attending the National Convention this October. His Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project is Row Crop Production.

Griffin is a first year FFA officer and is currently serving as chapter Sentinel. He has received multiple awards including his Greenhand Degree and Chapter Degree, and plans to get his State FFA Degree this spring. His Agriculture classes include Plant Sci- ence, Ag. Mechanics 3, and Agribusiness Management and Leadership.

Outside of his FFA activities, Griffin is a member of the Varsity Pirate Baseball Team. He is also a member of First Baptist Church and is a vendor at our National Mayhaw Festival. After high school, he plans on going into the Air force.
