Fourth of July – Library Closure

The Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, July 4, in celebration of Independence Day. The Library will reopen on Monday, July 7, at 10 a.m. Be sure and go by the library in advance to get your passwords to online resources and to load up on movies, books, and music to carry you through the holiday. While the library may be closed, online library resources are still available. Go to SWGRL.org to log onto the online catalog to reserve your books and explore other links that provide timely information. Through the website you may access Galileo, an online database of full text articles and resources. You may also log into Georgia Download to access free ebooks. Summer Toddler Time

The Summer Toddler Time program is a special program just for tots. Children play with toys, socialize, hear music, have books read to them and have special activities that are age appropriate. The program is on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. During the summer the program is held each Thursday afternoon except the week of the Fourth of July. Toddler Time will resume its regular monthly schedule in August, with Ms. Donna on Thursday, August 21, at 3:30 p.m. For more information go to the Miller County – James W.
