Williamson, Sheffield to wed

Vanessa Williamson and Christopher Sheffield Vanessa Williamson and Christopher Sheffield Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Josephine Williamson of Colquitt are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Vanessa Lynn, to Christopher Giles Sheffield. Christopher is the son of Ernie and Susan Sheffield, also of Colquitt.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of the late Hurshel Williamson and Francis Payne of Cuthbert and the late Rosa Lee McCranie of Leesburg, Florida.

Miss Williamson is a 2005 honor graduate of Miller County High School. She attended Darton College in Albany, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany.

The future groom is the grandson of the late E. Marvin and Mary Barwick Sheffield of Colquitt and the late Ollie Cleamon Giles and Ann Clements Giles of Thomasville, formally of Ochlocknee.

Mr. Sheffield is a 2005 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy in Damascus. He attended Georgia

Southwestern State University in Americus, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration in 2010. He is currently employed with Verizon wireless as a sales consultant.

The wedding will take place at 6 o’clock in the evening on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Quail Country in Arlington with a reception to follow.

No formal invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
