Seminole Ramlins

Golf Carts; let me tell you a story of Peachtree City, GA. There is a paved golf cart track along all streets, and they lead to all the malls in the city and the high school has a parking lot just for golf carts that has 500 spaces and are used each school day.

We have had a very good week on Crappie and they, as of Saterday, were at it again. Here are some places to look at: Silver Lake Run, 10 Mile Still, Lilly Pad Run, Upper Carl’s Pass, Lower Carl’s Pass, Tom Mann Hole, Mule Lot and the shallow water tween the Creek and Flint River.

The weigh-in Saterday of the Fisher’s Of Men, sponsored by the Faceville Baptist Church, had some awesome strings of fish, to be sure. 28 lbs. in a five fish limit has been their record for a long time. However, Matt Baty and Kyle Henderson had 5 fish that weighed 31.74 lbs. and Big Fish at 7.45 lbs. Randy Dunkan/Adam Linkonhoker had 5 fish that weighed 31.07 lbs. and 2nd Big Fish at 7.09 lbs., Gilbert Stafford and Steve Holt had 23 lbs., Paul Tyre and Chris Bell had 21.1. Clint Brown and Kim Brown had 18.53. Not a bad catch for this ole wore out Indian Lake and not one fish died and all were healthy.

Steve Bushore and Mr. Wenhold with their winning catch (21.2 lbs.) in the C&R Tournament held on Sunday Steve Bushore and Mr. Wenhold with their winning catch (21.2 lbs.) in the C&R Tournament held on Sunday The A.B.A. Weekend Series had a nice turnout in Bainbridge with the following results: 1st Place went to Terry Stevens of Marianna with 24.95 lbs., 2nd Place went to Tom Hamlin of Lizella, GA with 22.44 lbs., 3rd Place went to Frank Jorden, Jr. with 21.68 lbs., 4th Place went to Brad Hamric of Leesburg, GA with 20.25 lbs. Big Fish went to Pat Fisher of Clearwater, FL with a 7.01 lbs. Bass. 18 boats did not catch a Bass.

The C& R held their tournament on Sunday and weighed in at 3pm at Wingates with Bushore and Wenhold taking 1st with 21.2 lbs. and Big Fish at 5.6 lbs., Weatherby and East took 2nd with 9.8 lbs., Chandler and Brooks took 3rd with 6.1 lbs.
