Larceny - From Vehicle On February 7, 2011, Ms. Patricia C. Smith Grant of Colquitt, came in the Colquitt Police Department and stated to Officer Scott Lawson, that some time on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, that someone had taken her pocketbook out of her husband’s care which was in a 1996 Toyota Camry. The pocketbook is black with black straps and red lining. The items in the purse were A M.V Touch cellphone and other miscellaneous items. The value is unknown at this time.

Accident On February 10, 2011, Don Wade Howell, of Iron City, driving a 2008 Ford F-150 Pickup, was backing out of a parking spot. Jean Carol Henry of Blakely, driving a 2002 Ford Taurus, was parked in the parking spot; Mr. Howell backed into Jean Carol Henry’s vehicle. Mr. Howell was found to be at fault for accident due to improper backing.

Lost Medication On February 11, 2011, Mr. Billy Dewayne Farmer came into the Colquitt Police Dept. and stated that he was moving of his trailer house that he was renting from Jerry Nalls on Wallace Lane and when he went to gather his remaining items from the house he noticed that the lock was off the door. Mr. Farmer stated that Mr. Jerry went into the residence and put all his items into a bag and threw his medication away. Mr. Farmer further stated that the name of the medication was Lorcet and Zanax.

Damage to Property On February 13, 2011, Officer Scott Lawson went to the address of East Crawford St. to speak with Mr. Lonnie C. Wade about someone damaging his 2004 Mazda 61. Damage was done to the door and front windshield. There were two areas of damage to the windshield which appears to have been done by some type of object.
