The class met and had lunch at Helen’s Pirates Cove Restaurant. The group met at 11:00 a.m. for a time of fellowship. Class pictures were taken at that time. Everyone enjoyed visiting with each other and catching up on things that have happened over the past year. A total of 12 people attended the function. Out of the 39 graduates 31 are deceased. Four of the eight living classmates attended the reunion.

These folks have been graduated from Miller County High School for 71 years. These remarkable individuals visit with each other about this time every year at Helen’s.

The head table was decorated with a large bouquet of autumn flowers.

Around 11:45 a.m. a special prayer was offered for the food by Mr. Playol Shippey. Everyone enjoyed the meal. After eating, everyone was brought up to date on the health status of the members not present. In addition each classmate gave a short update on their respective families and their activities since their last meeting. Mrs. Mildred Kimbrel gave a treasurer’s report from the last meeting which was September 26, 2009. Next Mr. Shippey read the names of those classmates who are no longer here and offered a prayer for them. He then gave a short inspirational talk. Everyone visited for a short period of time after the message. A good time was had by all in attendance.
