Collie C. Bush, age 95, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away August 28, 2010. He was born November 9, 1914, in Miller County.

Collie was of the Christian faith. He was a carpenter all his life and retired in 2002.

Collie will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Catherine Toth Bush; daughters, Duane Bird, Margie Whittaker, Dot Bledsoe, and Lisa Klein; sons Wayne Bush and Anthony Toth; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Chloe Bush; first wife, Beulah May, and their infant daughter; daughters, Colleen Houston, Eva Ray, and Mary Simmons; son, Ronald Bush; brothers, H. C. Bush, Buddy Bush, and John C. Bush; and sisters, Alma, Myra, and Lulaclyde. He and his second wife raised two grandchildren, Jason Bush and Ryanne Bush Batey.

A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, at Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Ave, Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133.
