Burglaries solved in Colquitt

Three of the stolen TVs that were recovered from the burglaries Three of the stolen TVs that were recovered from the burglaries A burglary occurred at 276 Phillips Street at the residence of Jimmy Allen, on Saturday, August 7, 2010, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The alleged offenders took a 37 inch Sanyo flatscreen T.V. and a 52 inch Sanyo flat-screen T.V. Montavious Rashun Mackeroy, 20, who resides at 1664 Bouie Road, Leary, and Justin Jaye Wade, 20, who resides at 514 E. Bush Street, Colquitt, were arrested by Colquitt Police Chief Scott Worsley and charged with burglary. The TVs were recovered in Albany at Dawson Road Pawn Shop.

A second burglary occurred on Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 276 Phillips St., the same residence. The offenders stole a 60 inch Sony flat-screen TV.

Montavious Rashun Mackeroy, 20, who resides at 1664 Bouie Road, Leary, was also arrested and charged with the burglary.

Another alleged offender, Michael Jerome Tolbert, 37, who resides at 309 Lancelot Lane, Blakely, is at large and is wanted in connection with these burglaries.
