Mrs. Addie Louise Newberry, 86, of Colquitt, died Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Palmyra Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Burial followed at Primitive Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wally Mahan, Steve Worsley, Ronnie Newberry, Henry Worsley, Buddy Worsley, and Roger Worsley.

Mrs. Newberry was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Pubanz of Bonaire, and Mary Layton of Colquitt; seven brothers, Sonny McGonagill, J. B. McGonagill, George McGonagill, Glenn McGonagill, and Gordon McGonagill, all of Del Rio, TX, Tommy McGonagill of Victoria, TX, and Walter D. McGonagill of Craine, TX; two sisters, Olive Mae Turner of Mesquite, TX, and Ginger Davis of Del Rio, TX; five grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
