Mrs. Frances Reid, age 94, of Colquitt died Saturday, August 14, 2010, at Miller Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Colquittt First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Marshall officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Greg Beaty, David Aslin, Eli Beaty, Kevin Lovering, Glen Lovering, and Hill Moore.

A graveside service was held at Providence Methodist Church Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee, on Tuesday, August 17, at 11:30 a.m.

Mrs. Reid was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Mississippi.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Gary) Aslin, Colquitt; four grandchildren, David (Cathy) Aslin, Germantown, TN, Ike (Tina) Aslin Shelby, MT, Suzanne Aslin, Colquitt, Amy (Greg) Beaty, Colquitt; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Reid; a brother, Carlyle Williams; a grandson, Brian Aslin; and parents, Chester and Mary Clark Williams.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
