State Troopers from the Colquitt Post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated six traffic crashes during the month of July in Miller County. Sergeant Marc Godby said the traffic crashes resulted in one traffic death.

Sgt. Godby said troopers from Post 14 also issued 67 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes two arrests for driving under the influence, 30 citations for speeding, 12 seatbelt violations, and six child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 59 warnings.
