MayHaw - Don’t miss it!

The three masters of ceremony of MAY-HAW are Billy “Floyd B. Lloyd” Kimbrel, Craig “Queezle Erskin” Tully and Cory “Marvin Spitznargle” Thomas. The now famous show, MayHaw, opened last weekend and has had its usual outstanding reviews by those who have seen the production.

“Quiet, quiet, quiet,” says one of the ‘funny’ dressed masters of ceremonies of the MayHaw show. “WMAW is going on the air in five, four, three, two, one-”

For the next hour or two, it is the hopes that those attending have relieved themselves at the “fairly” modern bathroom facilities before they go in. Otherwise, you might have an accident while you are laughing so hard. The audience not only is entertained by the three characters in the photo at right, but also by the talents of some of the best local performers in this area, and it is said Nashville, TN, is getting worried.

A cast of over 50 singers and actors who become stars before your very eyes and production staff are all local volunteers, and they work their hearts out to entertain you. There is no lip-synch. They each do their own singing and acting, and some sound better than those they imitate.

The Colquitt/Miller Arts Council presents this very special production at Cot- ton Hall on Main Street in April and July of each year.

This next weekend will be the final three shows of this year. Tickets are now selling at Bride & Gift Gallery and Market on the Square. Tickets are also still available by calling 1-800-514-3849 or by visiting www.swampgravy.
