Turn Those Reading Logs In!

Don’t forget to turn in your child’s reading logs for this summer’s Vacation Reading Program! All reading logs are due on Friday, July 30, 2010. Children who turn in a reading log will get a special reading certificate sent to their school. Children who are not enrolled in school will have a special reading certificate at the library, available in early August. Make sure your child reads at least 20 books this summer for a chance to win great prizes from sponsors including Hardee’s, Captain D’s, Dairy Queen, or Allen’s Pizza Buffet. Do you have a teen age 12 – 18 registered for the Vacation Reading Program? They need to read at least 12 books this summer for a chance to win prizes from the above sponsors. First Tuesday Book Club

The First Tuesday Book Club will not meet in August. Please join us for the next meeting of the First Tuesday Book Club on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Miller County – James W.
