Vehicle damaged while attempting to pass Hilda Owens in her 2002 Ford Taurus was attempting to pass the new city trash truck on the Bellview Road. The city trash truck was attempting to turn to the left into Cowart Lane. The auto got the worst part of the crash. The trash truck driver, Gregory Shepard, complained with his finger being hurt and was taken to the ER.

No one else was hurt in the accident.

The Ford Taurus sustained extensive damage to the right side. The garbage truck was slightly damaged.
