Elena Katherine Stone and Paul Lanier Bridges, III In the spirit of unity and affection, the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Elena Katherine Stone to Paul Lanier Bridges, III is joyfully announced by their families.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ms. Sherree C. Stone and Mr. William S. Stone of Blakely. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob E. McNeal of Pensacola, Florida and the late James W. Chambliss, and Mrs. Ann S. Stone of Blakely and the late Judge Lowrey S. Stone.

Katie is a 2004 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy and a 2008 University of Georgia graduate, where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in interior design. She is employed with Alfred Saliba Corporation as an interior designer in Dothan, Alabama.

The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul L. Bridges, Jr. of Brinson. He is the grandson of Mrs. Kath- leen S. Cook of Colquitt and the late Henry E. Cook, Sr. and Mrs. Ulatha L. Bridges of Brinson and the late Paul L. Bridges, Sr.

Tripp is a 2005 graduate of Southwest Georgia Academy. He attended Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing management at Troy University in Dothan, Alabama. He is employed with Jonathan Ebersole Construction in Blakely as a project manager.

The wedding will take place Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Pebble Hill Plantation in Thomasville with a reception to follow.
