Photo by Wig Geer The Miller County High School Class of 1948 held its 62nd reunion on June 4 and 5.

On Friday afternoon everyone met at Moby Dick Restaurant for a time of fellowship and reminiscing before dinner was served. The tables were decorated with white tablecloths, red and white flowers and lanterns.

Leon Hays Bush welcomed those in attendance. Lindsey Mock gave the invocation and blessed the food.

Cleo Mock gave a memorial tribute to the deceased classmates. As she called each name, a candle was lit in his or her memory.

After dinner entertainment was furnished by Eugene Hornsby and Witt Phillips.

On Saturday a noon time buffet was enjoyed by all at the same restaurant. A short business meeting was held and plans made to meet again next year.

A great time was had by all. A surprise guest was Art Womble from Leesburg, FL, whom everyone had not seen since seventh grade.
