Bryan Bootes of Iron City was born April 11, 1990, departed from this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He was a native of Colquitt.

Bryan, along with his mother and sisters, moved to Sebastian, FL, in 2000. He attended Sebastian River High School and had recently received his certification as a master welder from Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, FL. Bryan loved fishing, hunting and everything outdoors. Whether on the river or in the woods, it mattered not to Bryan. He loved his family and was especially fond of his “little people.” He looked forward to starting his own family one day, now that he was back “home” in Georgia. And he loved “them” Dawgs! “Bootes” will be missed by many and leaves a forever void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Bryan is survived by his mother “Mama,” Kelley Cook Adrahtas and stepfather, Robert Adrahtas of Sebastian, FL; his father, Randall Bootes of Birmingham, AL. He also leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Allyson and Cathryn Bootes, both of Sebastian, FL. He leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Eathell and Hank Tyler of Iron City; his maternal aunts, Jan (Bill) Howington, of Sebastian, FL, Gail Bush of Colquitt, Becky Wildes of Iron City; his paternal aunt, Debbie (Ed) Pughe of Longwood, FL; cousins, Tiffany (Robert) Bradley and Carman “Tatie” Snell; his beloved “little people,” Madison, Lani, Kaylyn and Conner Bradley, Lexi and Laci Snell, all of Colquitt. Bryan also leaves his loyal and loving dog, J.J.

Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ray H. Cook and his paternal grandmother, Lucille M. Bootes.

Funeral services were held June 5 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Colquitt Funeral Home. Bryan was laid to rest at Cooks Cemetery in Colquitt.
