Amanda Garrett and Bruce Higginbotham Mr. and Mrs. Ronny Langley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Leigh Garrett of Colquitt, to Bruce Alan Higginbotham of Blakely. Bruce is the son of Ms. Lori McCormick and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Higginbotham of Blakely.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Betty Johnson and the great-niece of Milton L. Johnson.

She is a 2005 graduate of Miller County High School and is employed as a paramedic at Early County EMS.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bruce and Kay McCormick and Sarah Harris of Blakely.

He is a 2008 graduate of Early County High School and is employed as a firefighter at Blakely Fire Department.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. at Shenadoah Place, formerly The Willows, in Donalsonville. The reception will follow after the wedding.

No local invitations are being sent, but all family and friends are invited to attend.
