Five arrested in busts
On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, agents of the Pataula Drug Task Force, Miller County Sheriff’s Office and Decatur County Sheriff’s Office arrested Barrett Anderson, 34, of Bainbridge, for posses- sion of cocaine with intent to distribute in Miller County.
The drug agents and investigators received a tip that Anderson would be bringing the drugs into Miller County on that date. The estimated street value of the cocaine was $900.
Then again on Friday, June 4, 2010, the Pataula Drug Task Force, Miller County Sheriff’s Office and Colquitt Police Department arrested KoryToliver, 19, of Colquitt and Kelli Brock, 17, also of a Colquitt address, for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
After the agents served a search warrant at 21 Jeterville Road in Colquitt, they found marijuana with an estimated street value of $500.
On Monday, June 14, 2010, the agents arrested Michael Bishop, 56, and Tammy Toliver. 44,
Each of these two suspects were charged with possession of marijuana with less than an ounce.
Suspects, Kory Toliver and Keli Brock were released after being bonded. Monday, Barrett Anderson was incarcerated in the Miller County Jail.
Drug traffic in Colquitt and MIller County is still much worse than law abiding cititizens would like. Thanks to law enforcement agencies like the Pataula Drug Force, the Miller County Sheriff’s Department and Colquitt Police Department, it isn’t as bad as it could be.
More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
