JESSE WRIGHT BRYAN
Funeral services for Jesse Wright Bryan, 74, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010, in the chapel at Jacksonville Memory Gardens in Orange Park, FL, with Rev. Carl Marshall officiating. Interment followed in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at the First Baptist Church in Colquitt.
Jesse was born in Miller County and has resided in Jacksonville for the past 65 years. He served his country proudly in the National Guard. Jesse was employed by the Milton J. Wood Company as a superintendent and retired after 34 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Carpenters Local # 627, the Woodstock Park Masonic Lodge # 313 F. & A. M., the Morocco Shrine Temple and the Scottish Rite.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Laura McKinlay Bryan; three daughters, Belinda King, Casey Hawley (Greg), and Christie Crews (Jason); son, Jimmy Tanner (Kelly); brother, Danny Bryan; 11 grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.
