Up The Creek Without A Paddle

My 13th President
by Terry Toole

It's a little early to write about a conspiracy, but if I wait too much longer, this freedom will be lost along with the rest we have lost.

First, I was a Southern Democrat, then a Southern Republican, on to a Southern Independent. I guess you could say I'm still looking. I've even gone to drinking tea.

I am a mixed race, white/red, 74-year-old editor of a Deep South Georgia newspaper named by my grandma, Zula, 111 years ago, the Miller County Liberal. Seems like one of my Toole ancestors married a Cherokee Indian squaw, and some of my relatives are reddish/ white. I always thought it was the Irish and what they drank.

I guess you could say that was liberal back then for a woman who couldn't vote to be telling men how they should vote in her own newspaper. She was the first woman in Georgia and possibly the USA to own and run a newspaper. She was right tough.

I have lived under 13 U.S. presidents, and this last one makes me superstitious and a bit panicky that we have really messed up, bad. Now those other 12, with Ronald Reagan being the best, and our Georgia boy being next to the worst, are no crown jewels, but the very sorriest of the crew looks like a diamond next to a piece of coal compared to what they did with their leadership and our current president's ability to lead. I think that President Barack Hussein Obama Jr. will make our only Georgia president look like George Washington in comparison.

In my biased view, when we put someone who has no experience into a leadership position of the most powerful office in the world, without God's help, he is doomed for failure.

He says he is an American born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but having a hard time with his birth certificate. His daddy's mother said he was born in Kenya, but what do grandmas know?

He is said to be a Columbia and Harvard graduate lawyer whom no one who went at the time can remember. He lost, or gave up his practice of law. Getting his records, grades, diploma, etc. has been hard to come by, and who paid for his education?

He claims to be a devout Christian, but was reared by his white mama who married two devout Muslims, the first being his daddy who lived in Kenya. I don't know why we are so disappointed. He is the most ultra-liberal Democrat ever. He is very smart. He is an excellent speaker. He believes in big government over the people instead of government for the people. He believes in taking from those who work and giving it to those who don't, calling it redistribution of wealth, except for those who he owes. He believes in killing babies.

In less than two years, he has put the Kennedy and the Clinton dynasties out of politics. He has taken over the automotive business, the banking business, the health care business and is working on Wall Street and the rest of our economy with cap and trade. Every appointment and czars working under him are outlaws or Chicago Mafia. This is the first time in my lifetime under 13 presidents that I have the feeling that we may have waited too late to save our republic as we have known it.

There is one thing that this 13th president is going to try that may turn the tide. Even the Democrats know better than to try to disarm America. He is going around those who have given him everything he wants and made a deal with the U.N. with a gun treaty. I'm not really sure the real Americans are ready to give up their arms to this man who wants to be king of the world.

I'm not sure we can afford him another year. He has broken this nation and made us a welfare state. There will not be one Christian on the Supreme Court with his next appointment. Those government programs need someone to pay for them. Hope you have saved enough for the taxes you are about to pay.

I forgot to mention, Obama Jr. is the most arrogant, racist, lying politician that I have ever known. I hope we can change this all in November by cutting into the Democratic Congress.

Only God can help us, if this is our punishment for what we have allowed.

Unlike Obama's minister Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. of 22 years, God bless America!
