Beatrice White Johnson, age 88, of Princeton, IN, passed away Friday, April 30, 2010, at Deaconess Hospice Care Unit in Evansville, IN.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were held on Monday, May 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with burial in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Dothan, AL, on May 2, 1921, to the late Fred P. White and Lillie Mae Perryman White. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie (Jimmy) Lassiter, Princeton, IN; one grandson, Jamie (Mitzy) Miller, Petersburg, IN; two greatgrandchildren, Christian Miller and Kaitlyn Miller, both of Petersburg, IN; as well as numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred P. White and Lillie Mae Perryman White; her husband, Rufus Johnson; and a niece, Donna Bradshaw.

Active casket-bearers were Rob Smith, Perry Miller, Edward Fiveash, Willard Mims, Greg Mims, and Jared Fiveash.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
