This week at the golf course we will be deep drilling the greens. This will happen on Wednesday. The course will be closed all day on Wednesday, April 28. The machines will be in operation beginning Wednesday morning. The course will reopen on Thursday (call for time of reopening).

The David J. Simpson Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit Helping Hands and Caring Hearts was held Friday, April 23. This is always a great event, and this year was no exception. Thank you to all who played or contributed. The results are as follows; First Flight; 1st Place - Jeff Adkinson/Don Chandler (61), 2nd Place – Jay Hathorn/Dee Simpson (62), 3rd Place – Tommy McNair/Greg Beaty (64). Second Flight; 1st Place – Brock Middleton/Gaylon Harrell (67), 2nd Place – Keith Middleton/Carroll Middleton (68), 3rd Place – Todd Ray/Adam Hutchins (70). Third Flight; 1st Place - Tony Smith/Lance Eubanks (65), 2nd Place - Eric Kimbrel/Eric Eubanks (66), 3rd Place – Mike Williams/Russ Williams (67). Fourth Flight; 1st Place – Billy Lewis/Andy Owens, 2nd Place – Chris Cowart/Jay Palmer (71), 3rd Place – Jerry Jones/ Freddie Gleaton (72). Fifth Flight; 1st Place – Mike Reese/David Askew (68), 2nd Place – Jim Hall/ Barry Downs (72), 3rd Place – Daniel Rumsey/ Quin Wright (75).
