On April 1, Woodrow Collier stated that he had last used his welder on April 1, 2010, and left work at 4:30 P.M. and when he returned to work in the morning, about 70 feet of welding leads had been cut and taken from the shop, along with a brass fuel cap. Collier stated that the leads were run up under the shop door, that was pulled down and locked at the time he left work on Thursday, with about 70 feet of leads sticking outside of the shop door. Someone cut the 70 foot of leads and removed a brass cap off of a diesel fuel tank. The incident is under further investigation.
On March 26, Garrett Bridges stated that about two weeks ago he had moved his irrigation system out of the field. Bridges stated that when he returned on April 5 to move the system he noticed the irrigation system would not move. Upon further inspection of the irrigation, Bridges noticed that the span cable wire had been removed from five towers of the system. Also a tower used for spare parts had also been stripped of its wire.
