Catch the Bookmobile!
Be sure to catch the library’s Bookmobile in the Mayhaw Festival Parade this Saturday, April 17. The Bookmobile provides valuable service to the residents of Miller County by providing books for all ages, new DVD releases, and much more! Be sure to stop by Spring Creek Grocery on the first Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. to see all the exciting materials the Bookmobile has to offer. In addition, the Bookmobile serves Miller County Elementary School, Miller County Head Start, Miller Nursing Home, Miller Senior Center, and New Visions by depositing materials on a monthly basis. Don’t forget to celebrate National Poetry Month with an open mic afternoon Thursday, April 15, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. at the Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library! Do you like writing poetry? Do you want to share your best work with others? Grab a few of your best poems and join us for open mic afternoon!
