INCIDENT REPORTS

Vehicle Accident

On March 24, Cappie L. Lovering stated she was backing out of a parking space right in front of the hospital. She stated that she backed all the way across the street into another parking lot and did not see Stacey M. Griffin. Lovering struck Griffin’s vehicle on the passenger side front corner panel causing minor damage. There were no reports of any injuries on scene, and no citations were issued.

On March 22, Cindy Lyles German was attempting to back up. Shannon Lashea Crankfield was parked and unattended. German misjudged the clearance and struck Crankfield’s vehicle. German’s rear bumper struck Crankfield’s front bumper, causing slight damage to German and Crankfield’s vehicle. No citations were given; no injuries were reported at the time of the accident, and pictures were taken.

On March 26, Sharon Renee Williams was attempting to back up out of a parking space. Luanne Brackin was also attempting to back up out of a parking space. Both Williams and Brackin misjudged the clearance and struck each other. Williams’ rear bumper struck Brackin’s passenger side rear door. No citations and no injuries were reported at the time of the accident. Pictures were taken.

Drug Investigation

On March 23, Colquitt Police Chief Scott Worsley opened a drug investigation inside the city of Colquitt.

Larceny

On March 20, Stanley Barnard Carr advised that he left his bike parked in the back yard around 1:30 P.M., and when he went back around 3:30 P.M., it was missing.

Driving While

License Suspended

On March 28, the dispatcher advised that Matthew Charles Buehrle’s license were suspended for DUI. Buehrle was placed under arrest for driving while license suspended, and he was transported to the Miller County Jail.
