EARLINE N. LYBARGER
Mrs. Earline N. Lybarger, 81, of Albany died Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 24, at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Russell Anglin officiating. The interment followed at Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County at 3 p.m.
A native of Miller County, Mrs. Lybarger had lived in Albany since 1945. She was a member of Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church, and retired from AGE Credit Union as a human resource director. The loves of her life were that of her family first and following were that of reading, raising her flowers and vegetables, cookouts and guitar “picking and grinning.” She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar L. and Ida Lee Davis Norton, three brothers, one sister, her husband W.R. (Ray) Lybarger, and her grandson, John Craig.
She is survived by her three sons: Mark Lybarger (Susan Darie) of Albany, David Lybarger (Teri) of Douglasville, and Scott Lybarger of Albany; four grandchildren: Vassie Greenwood, Dawn Pannell, Tiffany Lybarger, and Michael Lybarger; five great-grandchildren, her sister Pat Norton of Albany; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Kimbrell Stern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
