GALILEO
Most of us think of Galileo as the Italian scientist who lived in the 1500’s. However, I’m talking about GALILEO which stands for Georgia Library Learning Online. GALILEO is a free resource that contains over 100 databases including journal articles, encyclopedias, business directories, and government publications. You can find almost any kind of information you are seeking, whether it is for educational, professional, or personal use. GALILEO can be accessed both in the library and at home. To access GALILEO from home, please call the Miller County – James W. Merritt, Jr. Memorial Library at 229.758.3131 to receive a password.
