Boys from all over Early, Miller, Baker, Dougherty, and Worth counties participated in a Pinewood Derby held in the Lowe's parking lot in Albany, Georgia. They brought home some more trophies this year, too! Nolan Whitaker won the first place trophy for the Bears division--third graders. His brother, Nicholas Whitaker brought home the second place trophy for the Tigers division- -first graders. There were about 50 boys who participated across the districts, and everyone had a great time. The Webelos that participated from Miller County were Seth Kelley and William Dykes. The Bear Cubs were Nolan Whitaker, Heyward Stober, Luke Thompson, Ben Thompson, and Holden Sheffield. The Tiger Cubs that participated were Danny Davis, Cade Nixon, and Nicholas Whitaker.
