INCIDENT REPORTS
Vehicle Accident
On March 9, Wilkin R. Lane was turning into the Kangaroo parking lot on the left side of the drive. Angela Jenis Ahmad struck Lane’s vehicle pulling out and turning right out of the parking lot. Moderate damage was done to Lane’s vehicle on the passenger side rear door and quarter panel. Moderate damage was done to Ahmad’s passenger side front end and quarter panel. Witness Larry Morris stated that it looked like Lane had committed to turn into the parking lot when Ahmad left without seeing Lane’s vehicle and hitting it. Point of impact was in the turning lane. Glass and debris as well as dirt from both vehicles were in the lanes.
On March 8, Elizabeth Anne Bailey was stopped at the sign at the intersection of North Cuthbert Street and West Pine Street.
Michael Maugeri was traveling north on North Cuthbert Street. Bailey misjudged the clearance and struck Maugeri’s vehicle. Bailey’s passenger side struck Maugeri’s front bumper causing minor damage to Bailey’s vehicle and minor damage to Maugeri’s. No citations were issued, and pictures were taken.
On March 9, Louise Grant Burke was backing out of the drive and backed into a brick column.
Hit and Run
On March 9, Tammy Sue Toliver stated that she left her residence around 11:30 a.m. and drove to two different places in Donalsonville and two different places in Colquitt. Toliver stated that her last stop was on 91 South at the dumpsters and when she got out of the vehicle and walked around to the passenger side she noticed that her vehicle had been struck by an unknown vehicle and that she did not know where the incident took place. The statements along with pictures were taken and the case is still ongoing.
On March 12, Monica Martice George stated that while inside Pic-N-Sav store buying items, she walked out to her Chrysler Concorde LX and noticed an unknown vehicle had struck her vehicle while parked in the parking space in the parking lot. George stated that her rear bumper and trunk were damaged due to the hit and run of the other vehicle. The statements along with pictures were taken, and the case is still ongoing.
Burglary - Forced Entry
On March 14, Billy Dewayne Farmer stated that his residence had been broken into. Statements and pictures were taken, and Investigator Rick Morgan arrived on the scene. The case has been turned over to the investigator for further investigations.
