Nursing Home News
Residents have had a fun packed week. We have had everything from Bible study, games, coffee club, singing and more.
Sunday morning we started our day with Sunday School. Members from Bellview Free Will Baptist Church came to be with us for the afternoon.
Monday morning we enjoyed Bible study, and we played afternoon bingo. Our evening was spent with Mt. Zion Fellowship.
Tuesday morning was another round of bingo. Mrs. Jane Wiggins was with us for “Grandma’s Attic” on Tuesday afternoon. The ‘Joy Lighters” came to sing for us Tuesday evening, which is always a blessing.
Wednesday morning members from Colquitt First Baptist Church came for our church service. Wednesday afternoon we had a good time in coffee club.
Thursday morning was bingo time again. We enjoyed some warmer weather while playing bean bag toss on the porch.
Friday morning Ms. Gayle Grimsley came to sing for us and share encouraging words. Friday afternoon we had fun with reminiscent corner as we had a chance to taste different kinds of jello and see who could guess the different flavors.
Our weeks are filled with different activities, and we are always looking for people who would like to come and share with us. As the weather gets warmer, we are looking forward to spending more time outside. We are still looking for animals to come and visit. If you are interested in bringing your animals, please give me a call at 758- 4235.
