Shirley, Smith to speak vows

Jessica Shirley and Evan Smith Jessica Shirley and Evan Smith Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stovall of Colquitt and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Shirley of Albany are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Shirley, to Evan Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Smith of Wildwood, FL.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frazier Warren and the late Virginia D. Warren, Mr. Steve Wells and the late Mrs. Geraldine Wells of Colquitt, the late Mr. and Mrs. Rex Shirley of Albany, Mr. and Mrs. Joy Tully of Colquitt, and Mr. Jim Stovall of Alpharetta.

Jessica is a 2006 graduate of Miller County High School and is currently enrolled in the Darton College Nursing Program and will graduate in December 2010.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Sue Smith and the late Rev. Wilson Smith of Tampa, FL, and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Kirkland of Wildoowd, FL.

Evan is a 2006 graduate of The Villages High School in The Villages, FL, and is currently enrolled at the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, FL, majoring in missions. He is also enrolled in flight school with plans to be come a missionary pilot in Ecuador, South America. Evan is employed with Jonathan Ebersole Construction.

The wedding will take place May 15, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Colquitt. A reception will follow at the First Baptist Church Retreat Center.

No local invitations will be sent, but all friends and family are invited to attend.
