Nursing Home News
• March M arch es A noth er w eek ha s come and gone, and we have been very busy at Miller Nursing Home.
This past week we started off our week with Bible study, and the afternoon was spent with members of Thompson Free Will Baptist sharing with us.
Monday morning was game time. There was lots of competition with card games, bean bag toss, bowling on the wii, and other games going on. We enjoyed watching a movie in the afternoon.
Tuesday morning was bingo time which is always fun, and we enjoyed coffee club for the afternoon.
Wednesday morning members from Colquitt First Baptist came to share with us. Wednesday Ms. Helen Floyd received a cake in honor of her 90th birthday. She
Marche s O n • wan te d to s har e it with h er friends, so we enjoyed celebrating her birthday with her. Thursday morning was round two of bingo. Thursday afternoon we celebrated peanut butter lover’s day by having a cake made by Kay Smith. You can see we had lots of eating time this past week, what better way to spend an afternoon than with cake, coffee and lots of fellowship.
We had a special treat Friday morning. The Miller County High School Choir came to sing for us. They did a wonderful job. Residents enjoyed hearing stories read by the library on Friday afternoon.
Family members came to visit Saturday, along with Joyce Grant. Thanks to everyone who had part in the activities last week. We look forward to seeing all of you again.
