INCIDENT REPORTS
Vehicle Accident
On February 26, Eric Worthy was traveling west on Dancer Street when he became distracted, side swiping a parked motor vehicle.
Nikeshia Tynese Scott’s vehicle was unoccupied. Slight damage was done to both vehicles. The accident occurred when the passenger side of Worthy’s vehicle came in contact with the passenger side of Scott’s Vehicle. No report of injuries was made while on scene.
Accidental Damage to Vehicle
On February 26, Eric Worthy stated that he was traveling down Pine Street and that a hole in the road where work was being done damaged his rim. Slight damage was done to the rim. Worthy just wanted a report done for insurance purposes.
Fraud
On February 22, Elizabeth J. Bojsza advised that on February 19 her credit card company, Bank of America, called and advised her of some charges that were made on her credit card. The card has already been cancelled. The fraudulent charge was made to Best Buy in the amount of $551.03. The purchase was delivered to an address in Fargo, North Dakota. The purchase date and time from Best Buy was 2/18/2010, at approximately 9:55 A.M.
Larceny
On February 22, Travis Bryant came to the Police Station to report that someone had taken a Samsung Delve cellular phone, that he had ordered from Alltel, from his mailbox. Bryant requested a replacement phone from Alltel and advised that he never received it. Bryant was advised by Alltel that the phone was sent through the mail. Alltel also gave Bryant a tracking number for the phone. Upon using the tracking number, Bryant found out that the phone was delivered by the Postal Service on February 11, 2010. Bryant advised that he never received the phone.
Disorderly Conduct
On February 23, Derrick Lamount Baker advised that there was no problem that he just asked for some change. While speaking with Baker, he became highly irate and began cursing and making threats. Baker was told two or three times to calm down. Baker continued to make a scene. Baker was placed in cuffs at this time. Baker was then transported to the a jail where he was booked and received a citation for Disorderly Conduct.
Suspended License
On February 26, Jamie Lynn Walker received citations, booked in and charged with Driving with Suspended License and speeding.
Marijuana - Sales of
On February 27, Mario Bell was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute with other charges pending further investigation.
