INCIDENT REPORTS

Vehicle Accident

On February 16 Amy Lauren Lashley was traveling east bound on Bellview Road, in Miller County, when two deer entered the pathway of the vehicle. Lashley could not avoid hitting the rear end of the trailing deer, causing extensive damage to the front of the vehicle and side mirror of the driver’s side.

On February 18, Matthew Lyn Cox was traveling northbound on Avenue Road and attempted to make a right turn into the driveway of a residence. The driveway was part of the ditch beside the roadway, and Cox was traveling too fast when he made the turn. Cox then went down the slope of the driveway and struck a small hole at the bottom. This caused the front fender area of the vehicle to make contact with the ground and Cox to lose control.
