Grand Jury returns 101 true bills
The February 2010 term of the Superior Court in Miller County convened Monday morning, February 15, with Judge Ronnie Joe Lane presiding.
The grand jury returned 131 true bills, two no bills, and two accusations.
A true bill returned in a case by the grand jury does not imply guilt or innocence in a case, but a true bill shows that there is enough evidence in the case to carry the case to a jury or before a judge. A no bill of a case before the grand jury means just the opposite from true bill, or the case was no billed by the officer of the court in a plea bargain.
