BLAKELY, Ga.– It’s Peanut Proud time again, and the peanut industry is planning a celebration! One new highlight for the 2010 celebration is the Peanut Proud Pageant on March 20, 2010, at the Early County High School Magnum Auditorium. The 2010 Peanut Proud Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 27.

The pageant is open to all ages up to 20 years. There are eight divisions in the pageant including Baby Miss (0-1), Teeny Miss (ages 2 -3), Tiny Miss (ages 4 – 6), Little Miss (ages 7 – 8), Young Miss (ages 9 -10), Junior Miss (ages 11 – 12), Teen Miss (ages 13 – 15) and Miss Peanut Proud (ages 16 – 20).

The entry fee is $50 plus a jar of peanut butter that will be donated to the Peanut Proud and Feeding Georgia program. Optional categories are also open at $5 each for prettiest dress, hair, smile, eyes and best personality.
