INCIDENT REPORTS

Vehicle Accident On February 4, Deanna Marie O’Berry was traveling east on Wright Calhoun Road and was approaching a curve, when a deer entered the roadway from the eastbound shoulder. The deer ran into the front bumper of O’Berry’s vehicle and glanced off. This caused O’Berry to panic and lose control of her vehicle. O’Berry then slammed on the brakes as she entered the curve. O’Berry’s vehicle then left the roadway at that time and slammed into a large tree, before coming to its final rest against the tree.

Other

On February 3, Andy Moore stated that a back hoe was operating on a slope and believed that the dirt in the bucket caused the back hoe to overturn on the sloping ground. The driver of the back hoe, Andrew Wallace, was taken to the Miller County Hospital after complaining of his knee hurting. Wallace was given medical care for his injury.
