Mrs. Vinettie Benton Miller of Colquitt died Wednesday, February 3, 2010.

Mrs. Benton was born July 8, 1927, in Miller County to the late Eustace Benton and Jessie Bradsbury Benton. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Newton with Rev. William Morris officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Jessie Hunt, NC, Solomon (Doris) Miller, Jr., Miami, FL, Nancy Gibson, NJ, James (Deborah) Miller, Thomasville, Dorcia Miller, Mary Hutchins, Jerry (Janice) Miller, William (Tonya) Miller, Colquitt; grandson, Terrance Gibson, Albany; sister, Juanita B. Reeves, Seaville, FL; one brother, Andrew Benton, Haines City, FL; two sisters-in-law; 18 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Williams’ Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
