On Jan. 12 and 13, 27 HOSA students competed in the Region 4 HOSA competition. This competition consisted of a 1-2 hour state knowledge exam. These exams are prepared by the state and administered by a proctor from the local school system. ROME, GA — Rising junior Austin Spooner of Bainbridge has been awarded a $10,000 per year Servant Leadership Scholarship to attend Darlington School in Rome. The officers and people who decided to attend all got together in the MCHS lunchroom and enjoyed some Domino’s pizza and some good cold drinks. Our next meeting is February 9, 2010, and we have planned to head to the YMCA bowling alley in Bainbridge, GA for some pizza, drinks, and some good fun. More ... The students will celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday and the NEA’s Read across America Event to be held on March 2nd, 2010. The SGA middle school team traveled to Windsor Academy in Macon to take part in the 3AA Region Tournament. The Warriors opened up against the Valwood Valiants for Valdosta. SGA came out on fire, out-scoring the Valiants 20-1 in the first quarter. The Warriors cruised to a 44-14 victory in the first round of the tournament. More ...
