Mrs. Ellen Louise Varnum, age 49, of Donalsonville died Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

A memorial service was held on Monday, February 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Damascus with Rev. Buren Womble officiating.

Mrs. Varnum was born in Donalsonville, GA, on November 30, 1960, to Glenn Sanders and Pat Dawson. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Varnum, Donalsonville; her mother, Pat Ferguson, Columbia, AL; grandmother, Bessie Baker, Columbia, AL; two brothers, Maurice Wessinger and Kenneth Wessinger; one sister, Cathy Oakley; a sister-in-law, Lisa Temples, Damascus; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
