ANSLEY BROOKE TRAWICK
Miss Ansley Brooke Trawick, age 11, of Brinson, died Monday, January 25, 2010.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville with Rev. Mylan Brookins, Rev. Jimmy Dean, and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment followed in the Oakview Church of God Cemetery in Donalsonville.
Pallbearers were Wade Kirkland, Dave Lambert, Brad Trawick, Marc Godby, Troy Bush, and Brad Burke.
Miss Trawick was born in Dothan, AL, on November 6, 1998, to Gabe and Cindy Cannon Trawick. She was a fifth grader at Seminole County Elementary School in Donalsonville, GA, where she was involved with 4-H and the Elementary School Chorale. Ansley loved to play the piano and sing. She had been taking art lessons and enjoyed painting. Ansley was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Cindy Cannon Trawick, Brinson; her father, Gabe Trawick and his wife Anna, Iron City; her maternal grandparents, John Dick, Sr., Brinson, James Robert Cannon, Sr. and his wife Ann, Jakin; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Dianne Trawick, Iron City and Joel and Patricia McLeod, Dothan, AL; paternal great-grandmother, Rachel McLeod; and her brother, Gage Trawick of Iron City, GA. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Denise Bonner and her husband Monroe, Donalsonville, Jimmy Cannon and his wife Myki, Brinson, Shane Trawick and his wife Cassie, Donalsonville, John Dick Jr. and his wife Brenda, Iron City, Chuck Dick and his wife Cheryl, Stockbridge, and Terri Jackson and her husband Howard, Zebulon; and cousins, Brad Bonner and his wife April and daughter Cadance, James Cannon, Branson Trawick, Jason Dick, Shelby Dick, Morgan Dick, Bailey Jackson, and Nick Jackson. Regina Sauls, her caregiver, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Dick; her maternal great-grandparents, Herman Brookins, Sr. and Niza Brookins; and her paternal great-grandparents, Milton and Esmerelda Johnson and Tom and Clyde Trawick.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
