Up The Creek Without A Paddle
Last week was a very good week. I'm still losing friends, but some of them are getting better.
I was chastised last week for not reporting on my "first wife." I really did, or she really did in a thank you note.
I think I've found the Liberal a new writer. It's really not all that hard when you write about what you know and believe. When it comes from the heart, it is usually accepted, even if not agreed with.
Report: Betty Jo has walked, outside, several times this past week. She made it around the block, twice. This is the woman who, before her illness, walked five or more miles daily, fast, but she is doing much, much better. I've got enough shirts ironed to last me for awhile.
I get hundreds of e-mail messages from friends and enemies. Some I publish, and some I don't. One was sent recently concerning our unusually cold weather, and their reason for it.
His opinion not being "politically correct," I put it in that NPC file. At the risk of offending some, here is his reason for our frigid temperatures: "Because almost every white person for 200+ years said, "It will be a cold day in Hell, before a black man becomes president."
I'm not sure that this is the reason, but I'm glad the president wasn't pureblooded. We would have frozen. It kind of blew former Vice President Albert Arnold "Al" Gore Jr.'s global warming theory, especially down here in the South.
If all goes well, I don't think we are going to have another drought this year. Spring Creek looks like Flint River, and some of our county roads look like Spring Creek.
Other than my first wife getting better and some of my friends, too, a wonderful thing happened politically last week in Massachusetts. A not too well-known Republican named Scott Brown won the seat of the most liberal U.S. Senator other than former Senator B.H. Obama, the late “Lion of the U.S. Senate,” Edward M. "Ted" Kennedy.
Talking about political miracles, that is even bigger than "a black man being elected president of the USA."
President Obama made a trip to Massachusetts to help elect the Democrat. It didn't help in the most liberal, Democratic state in the U.S.
Newly elected Senator Brown said, "My campaign started small, but ended with Air Force One making an emergency run to Logan. And I didn't mind when the president came here and criticized me. But let me tell you when he started to criticize my truck, that's where I draw the line."
The newly elected Senator Brown drives a pickup truck with over 200,000 miles on it. I don't know what make or model pickup Senator Brown drives, but I'll bet he can trade it in for a 2011 Government Motors vehicle since the president and Democratic Congress bought General Motors out with our tax monies and our grandchildren’s.
The replacement of one U.S. senator has given the people hope that the destruction of our nation's jobs, homes, economy, military, and freedom will not be lost to "change."
In my not to humble opinion, if the people of the state of Massachusetts have had enough of this liberal, socialist, communist Democrat regime, the rest of the nation will be derelict in our duty not to continue the cleaning process from top to bottom in one of the ways we have, elections.
The Tea Party patriots, as in our nation's past history, have started a movement that may well bring this country to our knees and get back to One Nation, Under God.
It seems that every document that has been written to guide our leaders and our fighting forces tells us that this Republic was started as One Nation Under God.
If we Americans want to continue as a Republic, we must fight every politician and every court that disputes that we are One Nation Under God.
In 1973, we as a people allowed our courts in Roe vs. Wade, a 7-2 decision, (that is seven people) to change the meaning of our Bill of Rights and our U.S. Constitution so that it is now legal for our government to protect murders of over 50,000,000 humans reported from 1973-2005, or 4,000 killed in the USA per day. Now they are saying that marriage can be to anything, any sex.
We've got a long way to climb back up.
God forgive us!
