Mr. Horace Lovering, age 74, of Colquitt died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 22, at Colquitt First Baptist Church with Dr. Carl Marshall and Rev. Walter Daniels officiating. Interment followed at Harmony Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rodney Bryan, Rod Bryan, Kevin Hall, Ronnie Mc- Nease, Joe Sheffield, and Bill Spooner.

Mr. Lovering was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church, a school bus driver, and a member of the Miller County Young Farmers. He was a retired member of the Colquitt-Miller Co. Fire Dept. and an FFA Alumni.

Survivors include two sons, Adrian (Gail) Lovering of Colquitt, and Kevin Lovering of Colquitt; three brothers, James “Bubba” (Louise) Lovering of Colquitt, Ray (Nell) Lovering of Colquitt, and Glen (Vonnie) Lovering of Colquitt; two grandchildren, Eric Lovering of Colquitt, Marla (Sonny) Whitaker of Chipley, FL; two great-grandchildren, Samantha Whitaker and Chase Whitaker.

Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
